I'm homesick for a Home that I can't go to yet.

He has gone to prepare that home. He promises to come back and take me there.

One day I will no longer be homesick...

My nomad days ended a week ago. After my visa expired in Thailand, I spent a week in Chengdu and Meishan in Sichuan Province with Hannah and her family. Afterwards, I traveled back up north solo.

Saw a lot of things. Met a lot of people. The world is a big place with a lot of hurting people.

As previously pictures, these are the most fun people to do nothing with when wanting to relax in Thailand:

Becca being Big Becca

Josh preparing our dessert

Ryan trying to catch fish.

My team celebrating my birth at conference

The various forearms of my teammates. It should be easy to pick out my arm.

This is Ani.

These were my night time playmates at conference.

Onward to Chengdu...

This rooster is dead by now. This photograph is in memory of it. I had the priviledge of taking its last picture when I was roaming the streets of Meishan.

A video of Meishan at midnight on Chinese New Year. It sounded like they were blowing up the city.

Hannah and I playing around on the roof with fireworks

A video of a friend's grandmother's home in the Meishan countryside

Hannah, a friend, and me drawing water from the well

Our school is slowly coming back to life as people begin to trickle back from their hometowns. Classes start on Monday.

It's the year of the pig. If you were born in the year of the pig, you should have purchased and worn your red pig underwear and socks by now.

uhhhhhhh. uhhhhhhhhh.  :)

i like conference. it makes me think. i like meeting new people. they encourage me. i like listening to their stories. i don't like vomiting...but nearly everyone is doing it. thankfully it only lasts a day. they think its some sort or virus. i think it's food poisioning.

there's a big question mark in my near future.

WHeeeeeee. I've been traveling with Becca and 2 brothers.

In Kanchanaburi, we went to a park with oodles of waterfalls.

Then we spent 6 days on an island. The first night we got there, we couldn't find a place to sleep. A restaurant offered us their hammocks to sleep on. Becca and I stayed up all night because there were so many scary people. My eyes were opened to all the ewwwwww stuff that goes on at night. Our brothers took good care of us...they were super considerate and protective. I learn from them. We chilled and ate oodles of pad thai and curry.

Becca and I got a bungalow with the sweetest porch. We would chill on it and chat every night. I loveeed it.

Silly kids. Becca and I safely arrived in northern Thailand today. yayyyyyyy! byeeeeeeeee!
